Campaign of the Month: October 2007
Miri Nochi is a large fishing town that caters to some merchant business. Its population is about 13, 000 and the city wealth is 2,000 with no magic item costing over 10k available.
The town is under the control of Feliz Sandrino. Sandrio is of middle age and was once a fighter but his appointment by Emmanuel has made him fat and lazy. As an administrator he is decent enough. The recent invasion by the Veristan though has made him well off as the Veristani bribed him to allow their long ships to make port there. He has allowed the Mercs whom joined the Veristani, the Red Crusaders to supplant his own law enforcement forces.
This has caused some problems with some of the law enforcement group as some were being paid by various folks to look the other way. Now these folks are not being paid and there has been some ganging up to take out some of the Red Crusaders. The leader of the largest gang is Luis Villamil, once the captain of the police force.
The city itself is cut up by 4 major roads which radiate in two directions from the center core where the hall of justice and Sandrios estate make up the center. This center also has the city parks.
The silver Eel (El Argento Eel) is tavern 3. The tavern is usually busy with foreigners and business is done in here. The owner is Rosario Truleta. She employs three dwarvish bouncers Warrior 3 to take care of most problems.
The Grog shop-tavern. The Grog shop is usually filled with the commoners and their prices are generally lower than the others. The owners name is a Hebrean named Gonzolo Quesada.
Juanitas-The most lively of all the three, she has entertainment constantly, mostly music and the place is generally loud. The owner is a woman named Juanita Roca.
the police are dressed in scarlet and white, usually as a heraldic vest 5th level.
The city itself is divided by the roads which radiate from the center of the city which the hall of justice and the city hall.
The temples of Sorte, Burzah, Zerstrough and Lunara are within the port section, the eastern section of Miri Nochi holds Smerc, Oghma and Helme.
These are three of the known sleeping places in the town. The Narwal the nicest of the three and is located towards the center of town. The Albatross, which is near the port and less districts of town and the Blue Tuna which is in the port district.
The Albatross is the tallest of the three structures but is the smallest per room space. It rises above some of the other buildings in the area.
